Ed Sheeran confirms a collaboration with his “good friend” Taylor Swift

Fans will be able to listen to the full version when the song is released on Friday.

This is not the first time the couple has worked together, as they have collaborated on several songs, including Everything Has Changed, End Game and Run.

The Joker And The Queen was first released in October along with Sheeran’s fifth studio album, Equals.

The album reached number one on the charts, and two of their tracks, Shivers and Bad Habits, peaked at number one on the singles chart.

Sheeran also took home the Brit Award as Composer of the Year at O2 in London on Tuesday.

During his acceptance speech, he dedicated the gong to his “supportive” wife Cherry Seaborn, calling her “the best.”

The Suffolk singer and songwriter married Mrs. Seaborn in 2019 and later took a break from music to welcome his daughter Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran, who was born in August 2020.

He kicked off the Brit Awards show on Tuesday night performing his hit Bad Habits alongside amazing guests, metal rockers Bring Me The Horizon.

In a second appearance, Sheeran performed The Joker And The Queen towards the end of the awards ceremony.

He shared a video of the performance on his Instagram and wrote: “Thank you @brits for welcoming me last night.

“I can’t wait for you to hear the new version of The Joker And The Queen with @taylorswift Friday x”.

Pop superstar Swift also continued her success last year by releasing Red (Taylor’s Version) and Fearless (Taylor’s Version), which peaked at number one on the UK album chart.

They are part of the six-album catalog he is re-recording with the aim of regaining ownership of his music after the sale of the master recordings.
